As you enter the Regency at Chancellorsville (RAC) you are met with well-maintained and landscaped common areas which guide you through the gates to the neatly manicured residential properties. There is a strong sense of well-being that is conveyed by the ambience of the neighborhood and the activities of the residents. This is a community of independent adults in transition from a busy life of work and child rearing to spending time on ones’ own interests with family and friends. The size of the neighborhood is viewed by most as a “Goldie locks” just right scenario with 278 homes comprising the RAC Homeowner’s Association (RACHOA).
 
The community is a hive of activities including cycling and walking on pedestrian friendly sidewalks that lead to the First Day at Chancellorsville Battlefield trails. Residents take part in a wide variety of amenities including an indoor pool, outdoor pool, a club house with gym facilities and many social gathering places. RACHOA and resident run activities are abundant and prized by the residents including the wine club, game night, quilting club, water aerobics, potluck dinners, and exercise classes as examples. A commitment to strengthening bonds with fellow residents takes form in many ways with ice cream socials, cookouts and regular gatherings. Neighbors reach out to help each other, share skills, volunteer in the community and are generous contributors to many non-profits.
